JANUARY 9TH

Today is your birthday
I'm all dressed up
Where are you?
Nowhere
Everywhere
You are frozen in time
You will never be older
I'll raise my glass
In toast to you
My tears will salt
The sweet wine
Can you see me
From that other plane?
Are you taking care
Of my heart and soul?
I gave them into
Your keeping
As I have yours.
